\nThe FDI Confidence Index\u00ae is constructed using primary data from a proprietary survey administered to senior executives of the world's leading corporations. Respondents include C-level executives and regional and business heads. The 302 participating companies represent 28 countries and\u00a0<\/em>
\nspan all industry sectors. All companies report global revenue of more than $500 million, and two-thirds report more than $1 billion.\u00a0<\/em>
\nTo reflect the increasing influence of emerging markets\u00a0<\/em>
\nin FDI decision making, more than one-third of respondents' companies are headquartered in developing countries.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
