Other professions, also undergoing change, have called on biomimetic science, literally \"inspired by nature\", to identify breakthrough innovations, sometimes surprising, often inspiring, always effective. A specialised resource centre based in Senlis, the CEEBIOS, works on biomimicry and has launched a workshop on biomimetic housing.
