The decline amounts to -10.6% between 2012 and 2013, and -24% compared to the best year in 2010. In contrast, creations outside this regime are doing well, with an increase of +8.6% between 2012 and 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Of the total of 263,243 creations excluding auto-entrepreneurs, corporate forms still represent the majority (60%), but remain stable, while creations in the form of sole proprietorships increased significantly by +26% between 2012 and 2013.\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">This is the first time in 5 years that sole proprietorship creation has increased<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newcorpconseil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/evolution-entreprises-ind-jpg.png\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" household services sector (-8.2%), real estate (-7.3%), and construction (-6.4%).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Conversely, the sectors that are growing are transport and storage (+11.5%), financial and insurance activities (+8%), and education, health and social work (+6.1%).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newcorpconseil.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/secteurs.jpg\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"color:#000000;\"><em>The 2013 results are therefore mixed. Indeed, if the total number of start-ups is decreasing, and this has been the case for the last three years if we include the status quo of last year, and if the number of self-employed start-ups has taken a very serious hit, the upturn in the number of start-ups of individual businesses, which some might think are more likely to be sustainable and create jobs, brings a note of hope. This is all the more true since it is the VSEs\/SMEs that are the companies that create jobs. <span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">in net balance<\/span>As she has just recalled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oecd-ilibrary.org\/science-and-technology\/tableau-de-bord-de-l-ocde-de-la-science-de-la-technologie-et-de-l-industrie-2013_sti_scoreboard-2013-fr;jsessionid=4cg6l407g67pj.x-oecd-live-01\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">the latest OECD Scoreboard<\/span><\/a> (no doubt the source of the reminder of this statistical reality by the President of the Republic during his speech on 14 January). An OECD study which certainly reminds us that net employment is created by small businesses ... but also by the youngest:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><a
